Orqestra Privacy Policy

Effective 9 October 2026

Orqestra is a desktop application made by IntellyCode (“we”). You install and run it on your own computer. This policy explains what data Orqestra uses, where it goes, and the choices you have. It covers the Orqestra app only, not the rest of this website.

Where Orqestra runs

Orqestra runs on your computer. Its database, logs, run folders and settings are stored on that computer. IntellyCode does not operate a server for Orqestra and does not receive your data. Orqestra is not offered as a hosted service; if that changes, this policy will be updated before it does.

Data from your Google account

If you connect a Google account, Orqestra asks for these permissions:

  • Your email address (openid, userinfo.email): to show which account is connected.
  • Gmail read and modify (gmail.modify): to search and read messages for the missions you run, for example to list mail that asks something of you in a morning brief, and, when a mission is allowed to, to add or remove labels on messages (the app tells you when it does).
  • Gmail send (gmail.send): to send a message only after you approve that exact message in the app.
  • Calendar free/busy and events (calendar.freebusy, calendar.events): to read when you are busy, suggest focus time, and create an event only after you approve it.

Orqestra uses this data only to carry out the missions you start or schedule. It never sells it, never uses it for advertising, and never uses it to build user profiles. IntellyCode staff cannot see it, because it does not leave your computer except as described in the next section.

AI processing

Orqestra does its work with an AI model that you connect yourself, for example Claude Code (Anthropic) or Codex (OpenAI), using your own account or subscription. When a mission reads your mail or calendar, the parts it needs for the task are sent to that AI service so the model can do the work. That service processes the data under its own terms and privacy policy, which you accepted when you created that account. Orqestra does not send Google data to any other third party.

Missions that read Google data must run only on AI accounts where training on your conversations is turned off: in Claude, Settings → Privacy → “Help improve Claude” off; in ChatGPT, Settings → Data controls → “Improve the model for everyone” off. Orqestra tells you to check this when you connect a mail account. With these settings off, the AI service does not use the data Orqestra sends to train its models.

Limited Use

Orqestra’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is not used to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models by IntellyCode.

Storage and security

  • Google sign-in tokens are stored in Windows Credential Manager on your computer, never in plain files, logs or the AI prompts.
  • A record of each run (what was asked, which tools were called, the results) is kept in a local database on your computer so you can review it.
  • Working files of a run are kept on your computer and removed automatically 14 days after the run ends; you can remove them earlier.

Your choices

  • Disconnect Orqestra from your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • Remove a stored account from Orqestra with orq credentials rm <name>.
  • Uninstalling Orqestra and deleting its data folders removes everything it stored on your computer.

Children

Orqestra is not meant for children under 16.
